Teenagers go through so many different phases. You have the girls that want to get pregnant at 15, kids who are all "GHETTO" and act like "GANGSTERS", the needs, the jocks - the list goes on and on. In many cases, these "PHASES"get old and the kids tend to grow up a bit - but then there’s punk rock. Contrary to popular belief, punk culture does not end when you get out of high school, it doesn’t end when you get out of college, it doesn’t end when you die. Although many believe that this counter culture is something that just goes away with time, people in the scene know a very different reality. It’s a set of beliefs - a completely different lifestyle rotating around the music and alternative views of people from all walks of life. But why do people stay in the scene into "ADULTHOOD?" All Grown Up is a presentation of exactly that - the reasons for the strong commitment and feeling of community in the punk scene. With this documentary people are able to see that there’s much more to punk rockers than what meets the eye. They are accomplished, well-rounded, and good-hearted people that happen to be committed to something different than the "norm", and there is nothing wrong with that. This is a chance to hear the unheard, to see the unseen, and to show what people refuse to accept - IT'S NOT JUST A PHASE!
